Hey, I’m old too! I often end up feeling light-headed/faint/nauseated at concerts so I tend to not go to many anymore. But my very first was an amaaaazing Rasputina show when I was 17 at a venue that doesn’t even exist anymore.

I can do the old person thing and sit down at concerts, but I tend to get sick when it’s standing-room only, unless it’s a really small venue. It’s a combination of the heat and the noise and the people.

Rasputina must have been amazing. I don’t know too much about them, but I was into them for awhile around How We Quit the Forest. I really liked Bonfire Madigan at the time, and Rasputina was the only other good cello rock I could find. I should check out their more recent stuff.
